The fastest way to reach us is email. We read everything that comes in, but we're a small team so it can take a few days to respond — especially during siding season (roughly April through October around here).

What's worth writing about

• Story tips and ideas. If there's a topic about hardie siding installation or fiber cement maintenance in Chicagoland we haven't covered, tell us.
• Corrections. If something on the site is wrong or out of date, we want to know. We update articles when we learn we've gotten something wrong.
• Questions from homeowners. We can't be your contractor, but we sometimes turn a good question into an article. Feel free to ask.
• Photos from your own siding job. Before-and-after photos from Chicagoland homes are always welcome — with permission, we sometimes feature them.
